Once again, I've stumbled over another multi-fandom exchange-type thing via fandomcalendar. This time it's the Five Acts Meme. I'm excited to see how this pans out.

2) Disorders and Emotional themes (phobias; neuroses; obsessive-compulsive disorder; angst; wallows; darkfic; emotional damage; psychological trauma; tragic pasts; broken characters; guilt and shame; mental instability; sadness and grief; abandonment or fear of same; characters who can't go home again; fear in general; nightmares; failure; insecurity; self-hatred; self-mutilation such as secret cutting)

3) Anal sex, rimming (face to face, from behind, bottom riding top; standing; bent over desk; gay or straight; girl-on-boy with strap-on; girl-on-girl with strap-on)

4) Gender and sexuality themes (gender/sexuality confusion; genderbending; genderneutral or genderfluid characters; androgyny; asexuality; butch/femme; tomboys)

5) Violent and dark natures (sadists; assassins and murderers; sociopaths who make twisted, scary displays of affection; criminals and villains in general; characters who are ruthless, merciless, casually vengeful)

Other kinks are welcome as well! Whatever fits the characters. I love trying out new things. I have no squicks, but would prefer no mpreg, a/b/o, watersports/scat or portrayals that go widely against the nature of a character.

You don't have an LJ, or don't like it?

I personally don't care where anything is hosted. I put all my stuff on AO3 and link from there.

Both! I shut down my LJ years and years ago over some moral reason or other, I can't remember. But every time I go there and am plagued with ads or bullied about logging in or my life is generally made difficult just because I want to reread some of my old original fiction, I hate them a little more.

So it's a great idea (and your list inspires me) but I can't play.

Strange, I don't have that problem with ads at all.

But that's a pity. I would have offered to ask the host whether I could add your list to the pool, but they only link to the LJ usernames / entries. That's a bit discriminating, because even though I feel like nothing's going on at DW, most of the people I once knew have also migrated years ago...

Literally the only thing I know of that actually happens on DW is fic exchanges and prompts and that sort of thing. If you're interested you could ask if they'd mind if a DW mirror was set up, since they're not interested in the DW side of things? Probably some of the people in my circle would be interested, but I don't think I know anyone else who's active on LJ.

The only exchanges I know are hosted on AO3 and community news are all crossposted to LJ and DW.
